How giving fees work: every platform pays Stripe the same processing fee — 2.9% + 30¢ per card gift, or 0.8% (capped) for bank/ACH. Nobody discounts that. The only thing that differs is the platform fee added on top.
Please note: international cards add +1.5% and currency conversion adds +1% — these are Stripe's standard rates, charged the same way by every payment platform, not a XPLIO fee. Most US church giving is domestic, so this estimate uses the domestic rate; international gifts will run higher.
